Be a little crazy!

On this day, Private First Class Heng Aik Seng did a crazy thing. He did 30 chin-ups in the IPPT (Individual Physical Proficiency Test). All he needed to get 5 points (the most number of points in a single item) was to do 11 chin-ups. When he did 12 chin-ups, other NSmen were already telling him that it was enough. He continued. When he did 15, there were murmurs of "Are you crazy?". He continued. When he did 20, even the instructor was smiling.
Someone amongst us suddenly shouted, "Which unit is he from?"
Another man shouted in reply, "573 SIR!"
A third man added proudly, "The best Infantry Unit!"
"Which company is he from?"
"Charlie company!"
"The best company!"
When he completed 30 and came down, applause went up.
Sometimes, it takes just one person to unit a team, somebody willing to do something seemingly crazy.
I am from 573 SIR and I am from Charlie company. I am a proud NSmen. It doesn't matter if I failed my IPPT. Somebody had brought glory to my company, my unit and even glory to the Singapore Armed Forces. Oh, by the way, I will pass my IPPT. I am sure.
